• Delivery: Tentatively Nov 21 (Colony A) and Nov 22 (Everyone else)

Our mailing lists have been updated with the emails we gathered during registration. If you have mistakenly been added to a list, simply click the "Unsubscribe from this newsletter" link at the bottom of the email and you will be removed. If you would like your address changed, a second address added, a youth's email added or know of someone who was missed please email me

with the email address addition and relevant sections (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers).

Popcorn Fundraiser Details

We have three major fund raising activities scheduled each year: Scout Popcorn, Apple Day and Scout Trees. The first, which starts this week, is Scout Popcorn. For each dollar of popcorn sales, roughly 25 cents of profit stays with our Group (the precise margin varies by product) . The remaining 75% goes to the supplier, Scouts Canada, Nova Scotia Council and Halifax Area.

Today (Colony A) and Tuesday (all other sections), we will be handing out envelopes, order forms and brochures for Scout Popcorn. We will require all orders/envelopes back at our Oct 17th/Oct 18th meeting. I will send out a reminder email.

All money is to be collected at the time of the order as either cash or cheque (payable to First Bedford Group Committee - Scouts Canada).

There are some exciting prizes to be won, all the information is available in the brochures and online here:

. The prize must be chosen and indicated on the order form when it is turned into the leaders at the completion of the campaign.

Delivery of the popcorn is tentatively set for the meeting night of November 21 (Colony A) and November 22 (Everyone else).
