Hi All,

I am told that a number of Beavers weren't there last week (neither was I) and so many of your Beavers will not have their wheels and steering wheel completed.  Sorry - had I known that, I would have sent my earlier message earlier in the week.

There is no need to spend a great deal of time on this project - all the kids really need is a box big enough to sit in, decorated as a car - we used paper plates and aluminum pie plates or burner liners for wheels, same for steering wheel, etc.  A little bit of colouring, and you;re done.  Some kids in the past have put tyheir booster seat in the "car" and thuink that's pretty funny - an easy way to pump it up.
