Hello Cubs, Tenderpads, Parents and all new and returning members of the 1st Bedford Cub Pack Family.
 
I will now practice my best wolf call . . . . aaaaa ooooo… <cough> <cough>.  Aaaaaaaa-chooo  <excuse me>.

Ah that’s more like it.
 
I put out the call to inform you that we will be having our first cub pack meeting of the year this Tuesday night (September 27) at Brownsea Island (Google it) better known as Bedford United Church (1200 Bedford Highway).
 
The meeting will start at 6:15 and run until 7:30.  Leaders will be in the hall from 6:00-6:15 welcoming cubs and parents.  Parents, please do not drop off cubs at the dock (curb) but escort your young charges all the way to the island (hall).  It can be a long and harrowing trip.
 
What do I bring?  Will it be fun? What should I wear? What are you talking about Akela?  What have my parents signed me up for?  No seriously, mom, dad what have you got me into?
 
These questions and many others will be answered later this evening when I post a notice about Cub Pack most frequently asked questions.
 
For now just enjoy the beautiful late summer weather and we will see you on Tuesday night.
