Cub Pack Meeting - Building Sixes and Investiture of Sixers and Seconds

Happy Post Apple Day and Halloween.

We are still shipwreaked on Brownsea Island hoping to avoid the turmoil of Jack, Ralph and Piggy.

To resolve this we will form into sixes this week.  Sixers and Seconds will be invested.  Tenderpads are to be invested next week.  The rest of the evening will be working in with the sixes in team building games.

Now . . . the cubs are generally excited enough so please no Halloween candy at the meeting.  Leave it at home.  Please also remember that we have a cub with a severe nut allergy so please no nutty treats before cubs and remember to wash your hands and brush teeth.

Cubs should wear their full uniforms to our regular meetings and bring along a Ziploc bag clearly marked with their name and containing the following:
1. Weekly dues to $2
2. The Cub Book (if they have it).
3. Pencil

As usual, the official start of the meeting – the opening ceremony – does not begin until 6:15, but please drop your Cub off any time between 6:00 and 6:15 so we can set up the equipment and play a quick gathering game. Please do not drop your Cub off before 6:00 p.m. We'll wrap up and clean up between 7:25 and 7:30, so please be available to pick your Cub up at that time.

Please note that Scouts Canada policy requires at least two leaders to be present before you leave your child in our custody. It's therefore important for parents to pop into the hall to make sure that we're there before driving off. Parents are also welcome to stay for our meetings and other outdoor activities.
