Pack Meeting - Here We are Now, Entertain Us! ... hello, hello, hello, how low, how low

Good Afternoon 1st Bedford Cub Pack,

We have had a busy bunch of weeks with pirate hunting, investitures and Remembrance.  Tonight it's time to lighten up.  Some of our Sixers will be away tonight helping to build the 1st Bedford Float for the Parade of Lights on Sunday, so it is up to us to entertain each other.  The pack meeting plan for tonight is . . . .

First - Invest our new cub pack leaders - Declan, Keaton & Maguire, John and Adam, and Aryton - I hope you have selected some great names that best represent your leader-parents.

Second - We will break into our Sixes to review badgework and come up with some creative designs for your lair corner of the hall.  While in sixes, we will also come up with some type of performance to entertain the group.  It could be a skit, a song, a poem, a dance, a story - It's up to you!

Third - Entertainment and Laughs!

*** If you have any badge work make sure you see your six leader as soon as you arrive in the hall ***

Then next week we leave the pirates and Brownsea Island behind and it is off to EcoLand!  The Land of Eco (Whatever that is?)

For the meeting, cubs should wear their full uniforms to our regular meetings and bring along a Ziploc bag clearly marked with their name and containing the following:
1. Weekly dues to $2
2. The Cub Book (if they have it).
3. Pencil

As usual, the official start of the meeting – the opening ceremony – does not begin until 6:15, but please drop your Cub off any time between 6:00 and 6:15 so we can set up the equipment and play a quick gathering game. Please do not drop your Cub off before 6:00 p.m. We'll wrap up and clean up between 7:25 and 7:30, so please be available to pick your Cub up at that time.

Please note that Scouts Canada policy requires at least two leaders to be present before you leave your child in our custody. It's therefore important for parents to pop into the hall to make sure that we're there before driving off. Parents are also welcome to stay for our meetings and other outdoor activities.
