I am a new leader this year.  It is very rewarding to get out with the kids and to see them grow.  I was once a Beaver and a Cub.   Being involved as an adult has shown just how enduring the Scouting movement has been.
 
I was also previously involved with programs that support “at risk youth” for 5 year and  was also a volunteer on the “Street Connection” bus for 2 years.    Some of my best childhood memories were spent outdoors and I hope that some of our current youth develop the same love nature.
