Why have an event that includes all members?  To foster a feeling of being a part of a group larger than just our individual section

What is the cost?  $35/participant (youth & adult) due Tuesday October 11th at the Scout meeting.  This fee includes the rental of the island and the purchase of the food.

 

Activity Description

At the camp new youth will be working on completing "Permit Work" required to safely use Axe/saw, knife, fire, lighting camp stove & lantern.  The bulk of the training will be done by 2nd and 3rd year youth.  We hope to do this work on the "mainland" at our group cabin.  We will also be having our Investment Ceremony @ ~ 6am Sunday morning at the campfire circle.

 

A detailed outline of personal equipment and the registration form, as well as other helpful information has been attached.  If you have a campfire blanket, please bring it for the formal campfire.
